Solid Waste Permit Renewal

All vehicles must be weighed at the Scalehouse before and after dumping.  Loads in all open vehicles and trailers must be tarped and secured.  Tailgates must be closed and loads should not exceed the height of the sides of the vehicle or trailer.

•  Speed limit throughout the facility is 5 MPH.
•  A left handed traffic pattern is followed in the site, if unsure of directions, ask at the Scalehouse.
•  The scale is one way only, please obey the signs posted on at the scale.

Vehicles registered with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of more than 17,000 pounds and trailers registered with a GVW of more than 10,000 pounds must have a Pennsylvania ACT 90 sticker in order to dump at any Pennsylvania facility.

Site Safety and Conduct

Safety is important to all of us.  In order to help make the use of our facility a positive and safe experience, we do have Site Safety and Conduct Guidelines.  Please read them since they apply to all customers entering the Transfer Station.  These Guidelines are available in the Scalehouse for all customers and cover areas of:

•  Personal Protective Equipment requirements.
•  Rules of the Road while in the Transfer Station, and
•  Conduct, including that no one under 16 years old is allowed in the Transfer Station without a responsible adult.
